Veck SE Crashes Banished FOREVER!

Tuesday, April 10th, 2007

NOES!Thanks to the invaluable help of OogyBoogy, I’ve narrowed down the silly crash problems with Veck SE. Cheers mate! I’ve also added XInput support.

The problems, which don’t affect Veck 2 as I completely re-wrote the control system for that, are basically shitty coding - not checking ranges and the like. When I put the control system together I was under pressure to get it finished for the vector compo, and, well, good coding practice sorta went out the window :D

Re-grab it here.

And thanks to this brilliant chappie right here, the brand-new XInput-related problems have been sorted too. Thanks for your usual complete and correct documentation, Microsoft! :D

Okay, so it was my fault, but it sure is fun to blame The Man

Veck Special Edition

Saturday, April 7th, 2007

Veck SEJust when you thought I was working on Veck 2, I hit you with another surprise - The Special Edition of the original Veck has been released! With girlfriend-amusing rumble effects and a starfield that makes you fall off your chair when you’re drunk and playing with the lights off, it’s as much fun as the original, but more Special.

This ought to hold you lot over while I put the finishing touches on V2 :D

Grab it here.

Exciting Announcement!

Sunday, April 1st, 2007

Exciting! It’s official! Veck 2 will be made available for exciting download later today from thesharewareportal.com, and will retail for the excitingly low price of $19.95! Beta testers, I’ve excitingly emailed you with details on how you can send me the discounted $15 for the beta - though you’ll also have to pay the full retail price if you want to upload your exciting scores. I think that $34.95 is a fairly good price for people to pay for the privilege of doing all my bughunting for me!

Download link as soon as the details have been finalized.
